Connecting Isaac's trail head with Turtle Creek Trail

Join the Elkin Valley Trails Association for a rewarding day of volunteer trail building on Segment 6 of the Mountains to Sea Trail in Elkin . Help build a trail that connects the Turtle Creek section to Isaac's Trailhead,

Our main task will be to move a fence line approximately 3 feet. After we move the fence we will build the trail.

Bring fencing tools such as heavy duty pliers, fence hammers, loppers, heavy rakes, hazel hoes, gloves, water and don't forget to bring your enthusiasm and smiles.

Meet at the Isaac's trail head on Carter Mill Road at 8:30. We will have a 1/3 mile hike into the site.
