NC Trail Days - Stone Mountain Cemetery Hike

Join hike leader and historian, Jason Duncan, on an easy 2-mile hike to visit two old family cemeteries in Stone Mountain State Park. We’ll meet at the Horse Trailer Parking Lot (GPS: 36.377874, -81.072541) on the west end of the park. The hike is almost entirely on the trail with no significant elevation changes. We’ll visit the cemeteries and hear stories about the families who lived here more than a century ago.

We also have the option of exploring a nearby homesite along the way.
