Finish off the holiday weekend by joining a great group of mountain bikers for an easy paced 15 mile ride through the mountains of Browns Ranch. Keep your 2025 MTB fitness going with this fun route, and celebrate the good old days of Foghat SLOW RIDE!

The route has 700ft of climbing and requires decent cardio. We will get going on Cloudburst then loop around past Cholla and Granite Mtns, and finish with the Whiskey Bottle/Chuck Wagon stretch. It's a new way to see Browns Ranch! Here is the route in a Trailforks map:

There are a couple of nice options to shorten the ride if needed. So come on out and cap off the holiday weekend with a fun ride!

**Timing:**
**10:45am** Arrive Browns Alma School Trailhead
**11:00** be ready to ride. We'll meet at the bike bypass in front of the visitor buildings.

**NOTE THAT E-BIKES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN BROWNS RANCH.** The City of Scottsdale allows e-bikes in Browns only with a city-issued permit. *Anyone on an e-bike must have a city-issued sticker on the bike. You are expected to ride at the group speed and be cautious about passing or encountering others on the trails.*

Bring 2-3 liters of water, spare tubes and tools plus energy snacks. Always smart to have a mapping app like Trailforks in case you get separated from the group.

I/we hereby waive, release and discharge the Meetup group Scottsdale Mountain Bikers and its officers, ride leaders, volunteers, employees, organizers, sponsors, members, and ride participants from any and all claims for personal injury, property damage ,or death resulting from my/our participation in any Scottsdale Mountain Biker event.

I/we acknowledge that mountain biking is a high-risk sport. I/we realize there are certain dangers inherent in the sport of mountain biking, and I/we assume these risks with the full understanding that injuries may result from my/our participation in any event.

I intend this release to discharge the above-named from any and all liability arising from or connected in any way with my/our participation in any event, even though that liability may result from the negligence or carelessness of the above named.

I/we certify that my/our bicycle is suitable for safe use in all events, that I/we are in good physical condition, and that I/we are able to complete the event.

I/we agree to wear a bicycle helmet properly adjusted and fastened and approved by SNELL or ANSI.

I/we have read this waiver and release and fully understand its terms and agree that it shall be binding on my/our heirs and assigns. I/we consent to emergency care at my own expense if injured or ill.
