Conservancy 20 Mile Ride from Pima-Dynamite
Details
This is a ride led by McDowell Sonoran Conservancy stewards and will focus on developing cardio fitness and technical biking skills. The ride is aimed at those preparing for a 30 mile perimeter ride in February and will cover trails in the NW and North Central sections of the Preserve.
Participants should expect moderate cardio challenges and intermediate technical requirements, with objectives including skill improvement in obstacle navigation, downhill braking, uphill shifting, and proper body and pedal positioning.

A bike with wide knobby tires is required. Please, no road bikes, hybrids, or folding bikes. Please check the working order of your bike before you leave home. Helmets required. Bring water and snacks and even a lunch. There are restrooms and water at the trailhead. Arrive 15 minutes before start of ride.
Timing:
8:45am arrive Browns Pima-Dynamite trailhead
9:00am be ready to ride. We'll meet in front of the visitor buildings.
NOTE THAT E-BIKES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN BROWNS RANCH. The City of Scottsdale allows e-bikes in Browns only with a city-issued permit. Anyone on an e-bike must have a city-issued sticker on the bike. You are expected to ride at the group speed and be cautious about passing or encountering others on the trails.
Bring 2-3 liters of water, spare tubes and tools plus energy snacks. Always smart to have a mapping app like Trailforks in case you get separated from the group.
