View DIFFERENT Rare Crested Saguaros from Granite Mountain
Details
Granite Mountain has a large number of saguaros, including some that are over 200 years old. A fan-shaped growth happens on only a few, resulting in a rare “crested saguaro”. This ride will point out many of the crested saguaros throughout the north and east sections of Browns.
The ride will be led by veteran steward Bill Jackson - he and other Conservancy science staff have studied crested saguaros for many years and are considered experts. Come out and learn more about the lifecycle of the amazing saguaros in our Sonoran desert.
This 3 hour, 14 mile ride is rated Intermediate and riders need to have good cardio. Pace will be on the slower and easier side.
