About us
Welcome to MTL Plus One (45+). We are a curated social collective for Montreal’s active professionals and dynamic retirees. Our mission is simple: take Montreal and surrounding areas and get more out of what the metropolitan region has to offer; hence the 'Plus One' in our name. Plus one for new friendships, more fun, great entertainment, and a vibrant experience. When you attend one of our activities, you will have the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, low-stress environment. Join us for elevated '5 à 7s', cultural walks, dancing, dining out, trips, trivia-fueled connections, and so much more.
We’re a 45+ crowd at heart, but we don't card at the door! Anyone is welcome to join as long as you’re comfortable hanging out with a more seasoned group of people.
We aim to recreate the 90's social scene, when people loved people in real life, before doom scrolling & algorithms, when we had to actually step outside to meet. If you remember or understand the experience, this group is for you. Join us!

The Ultimate Summer Night: Salsa, Bachata & Crème Glacée on Wellington!
Crèmerie Bouboule, 4640 rue Wellington, Verdun, H4G 1W9, Montréal, QC, CAWellington Street has been voted one of the coolest streets in the world for good reason, and one of them is that it serves as the ultimate summer stage for Latin dancing. Picture this: the air is warm, the sky is blue, and the street is pulsing to the irresistible rhythms of Latin music!
On Friday, July 10th, we’re bringing the MTL Plus One community together to soak up the absolute best of Montreal's summer vibes.
Whether you are a seasoned dancer or someone who has never danced before, this is the place to be. We will kick off the evening with a dance workshop to introduce everyone to the basic steps of salsa and bachata. Seeing the whole street dance together is a phenomenal sight. This event is all about high energy, laughter, and incredible face-to-face connections. Don't miss it!
To keep our group coordinated and safe, the exact meeting point will be revealed to confirmed participants only.
In case of light rain, bring your umbrella and we will go to a local put for dinner and drinks. In case of heavy rain, the event will be cancelled.

Strict No-Show Policy: Space for our outings is limited, and a lot of planning goes into coordinating these events. If you RSVP "Yes" but can no longer make it, you must update your status to "Not Going" ahead of time. In line with our community standards, members who RSVP but fail to show up without notice will be permanently removed from the group. Let's keep things respectful and fair for everyone!Cost: Registration is FREE.
