Get your plaid shirts ready and your sweet tooth primed! MTL Plus One is heading to Verdun for one of the city’s most beloved spring traditions: Cabane Panache.

For one weekend, the mythical Wellington Street will be transformed into a full-blown, wood-chucking, maple-soaked sugar shack celebration. If you’ve been looking for the perfect way to shake off the winter blues and welcome spring with a great group of people, this is it!

What’s on the Menu?

This isn't just your average street fair. We’re talking:
Gourmet Maple Eats: Local Verdun chefs go all out with maple-inspired dishes.
Festive Vibes: Live musical performances and traditional activities (think lumberjack chic).
Community Spirit: That warm, "love of the land" atmosphere that makes Montreal feel like a small town.

The Game Plan: An easy Scavenger hunt where you will be randomly paired to do some challenges, solve clues, and move to keep warm.
When: Saturday, March 21, 2026 @ 11:00 AM
Meeting location will be revealed to confirmed attendees.

💰 Registration: $15 (To secure your spot in the game, cover meetup costs and help our community thrive!) - 👑 "Spring VIP Member": Free

Why Join Us?

Coming to Cabane Panache alone is fine, but experiencing it with the MTL Plus One crew is better. We’ll navigate the crowds together, find the best maple taffy on snow, and enjoy the live tunes as a group. Whether you’re a maple syrup connoisseur or a newcomer to the sugar shack scene, you’ll find a warm welcome here.

Pro Tip: Wear comfortable boots and layers! Even if spring is in the air, the "Sugar Shack" spirit is best enjoyed when you're warm & cozy.
