Fun in the sun: Rapids Park

What better way to enjoy Summer than to be in nature? Join us for a Sunday morning at the breathtaking Rapids Park (Parc des Rapides) in Verdun.

Nested right along the majestic Saint Lawrence River, "Le Parc des Rapides" is a true jewel of Montreal. It offers a unique and stunning landscape where lush greenery meets the roaring waters of the Lachine Rapids. As you wander along its scenic paths and boardwalks, you will be surrounded by a protected migratory bird sanctuary, offering panoramic waterfront views and a refreshing breeze that makes it feel like an absolute escape right in the city.

The park is accessible by public transportation and surrounded by nearby street parking, making it a breeze to join us for our outing.
Everyone should bring their own lunch for a picnic to enjoy by the water.
Don't forget to wear your bin button, so we can spot who is in the group.

Whether you’re a lifelong local or a fresh face in the city, our walks are designed to discover a new Montreal neighbourhood or park each week. It’s the perfect, low-pressure way to enjoy some fresh air, expand your social circle, and get moving.

To keep the group experience cozy, we'll reveal the exact meeting point only to registered participants.
In case of rain, the event will be cancelled.
