This is a group for anyone interested in learning or practicing to speak Italian in context.
We organize online themed classes where we recreate real-life scenarios. This way, you will experience the language and the mindset behind it. If you are visiting Italy soon and you want to practice speaking, this is the right group for you.
At Enjoy your Italian, we believe a language must be put into practice from day one. Everything you learn needs to be practiced in context. It needs to be said out loud in a given scenario in order to be absorbed and learnt. Then it has to be practiced until it comes out automatically.
After almost ten years of experience in preparing English speakers for their Italian holidays, we know the importance of learning to talk in a simple, clear, and effective way.
In our live themed classes, you will introduce yourself to the other participants, you'll start learning how to sound more like a native, and you will be given real-life scenarios where you'll practice how to interact with others in a simple, clear way, focusing on the conversation goal.
You will virtually take part to a specific experience (e.g. a traditional Aperitivo, a shopping spree...) and learn to interact with people such as workers or other tourists.
The idea is to make you feel like you have already experienced a certain scenario once you'll be a visitor in Italy. When you find yourself ordering coffee in Italy for the first time, you'll know what to say and how while well aware of the culture behind it. Isn't it amazing?
