What we’re about
Welcome to our group – Connecting Through Wellbeing
Our goal is to create a supportive, inclusive community where individuals can explore mindfulness, mental health, and creative expression. We aim to help people connect with themselves, others, and nature through engaging workshops, nature walks, and wellness-focused activities.
We’re looking to meet people of all ages who are seeking ways to enhance their emotional well-being, reduce stress, and build meaningful connections. Whether you're navigating mental health challenges, feeling isolated, or simply want to try something new, you'll find a welcoming space here.
At our events, you can expect activities such as mindfulness based sessions, creative workshops, LEGO-based stress relief, and nature connection activities. Together, we’ll reflect, share, and grow in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Join us to prioritise your well-being and build a community grounded in connection, creativity, and care.

The Men’s Cave – A Space to Connect
Private Wellbeing Studio, Wimblestone Road, Winscombe, GBMen's Cave:
Book here: https://www.muditasalus.co.uk/events/the-mens-cave-oct
Last time we opened the doors to The Men’s Cave, no one came along – and that’s okay. Sometimes it takes time for something new to grow. We’re keeping the space open, ready for whoever might need it.
The Men’s Cave is a relaxed, alcohol-free space for men to connect, chat, or simply take a breather. There’s no agenda and no expectation – just a warm welcome, a cup of tea, and the chance to spend time with others who get it.
Facilitated by Lee, who brings a calm, down-to-earth presence and a love of creating spaces where people can feel supported and at ease.

Come as you are – you don’t have to talk, share, or be anyone other than yourself. Sometimes, just showing up is enough.2 attendeesKind Conversations: Communicating with Care - Workshop
Metta Wellbeing Studio (private), 65 Wimblestone Road, Winscombe, GB### About the Workshop
https://www.muditasalus.co.uk/events/kind-conversations-nov1
Join us for a relaxed 3-hour workshop all about making conversations kinder, clearer, and more connected.
Led by Elia Matteis, this session introduces simple tools inspired by Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and compassionate communication. These approaches help us to:- Listen so others feel truly heard
- Speak honestly without creating conflict
- Build trust and understanding in our relationships
- See differences as opportunities for connection rather than division
Through gentle group exercises, pair work, and reflection, you’ll get to practise new ways of listening and expressing yourself in a safe and supportive space.
The atmosphere will be friendly and informal — you don’t need any experience, just curiosity and openness.### Who is it for?

### About Elia
Elia Matteis is a facilitator, trainer and mediator with a lifelong curiosity about human connection and communication. His path has taken him from martial arts and scientific study, to meditation and a monastic year in Japan, to years of exploring conflict, leadership, education, restorative justice and activism.
Inspired by Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication, Elia has supported schools, communities, families, and organisations in developing ways to listen, speak, and relate with honesty and care. In 2022, he embarked on a remarkable “Trust Experiment” — giving up money and possessions to live entirely by gift economy while travelling and helping others. This journey deepened his belief in kindness, empathy, and the power of communication to heal and connect.
Today, Elia shares workshops, training, and mediation to help people find peace in their relationships and courage in their conversations.1 attendeeKind Conversations: Communicating with Care - Workshop
