Beauty Deconstructed: A Teen Discussion on Beauty Standards

### Join Multiracial Americans of Southern California (MASC) as we host an open conversation on beauty standards across different cultures and races. Our discussion will begin with historical context of different beauty standards throughout the world, then open up to discussion about experiences with beauty standards. Through this conversation, we will compare racial and cultural influences that impact us in different ways, and come to find middle ground on the many ways in which global beauty standards are similar. With this knowledge, we will discuss how to best engage with beauty expectations in the future and how we have the power to create change.
