This will be the first of two lectures on quantitative finance applications of R programming language. Essentially, this will be a 1 hour "accelerated" survey of R packages related to computational finance.

If you are new to R, or an experienced R programmer but new to quantitative finance, this lecture could serve you really well. Whether you are seeking a job at an investment bank, or if you lead a team of quants and developers at a bank, or just want to build your own computational trading system, you WILL learn a great deal from this lecture!
