Discover Munich: Historic Walking Tour & Social Evening

Part 1: The Historic City Tour (6:00 PM) We will dive right into the vivid history of the city. We'll walk through centuries of city development, uncovering fascinating stories from all epochs—some dark, some light and funny. From the city's birth and the dispute that surrounded it, to the fall of the monarchy and the darker chapters of the past.
We'll pass by iconic landmarks like Marienplatz, the Viktualienmarkt, the Alter Hof (and its famous monkey tower!), the Hofbräuhaus, and the Frauenkirche to see the legendary Devil's footprint among other things.Part 2: Socialize, Food & Drinks (8:00 PM) After walking through the historic heart of the city, we will definitely have built up an appetite! Around 8:00 PM, we'll head over to Weisses Bräuhaus im Tal. It's the perfect spot to grab some fantastic local food, enjoy a drink, and socialize. Whether you're new to the city, passing through, or a long-time resident, this is a great chance to chat, connect, and relax.
About Your Guide Hi, I'm Thomas! I've been living in Munich for more than 10 years. By day, I work in tech, but my real passion is Munich's rich history. I recently scaled back my hours in the tech world to pursue my hobby and become a free-walking city tour guide. I absolutely love showing people around and sharing the incredible stories that make this city so unique.
How it Works (Free Walking Tour Style) This tour is run completely in the style of a "free walking tour." That means it is fully tip-based, and tips are 100% optional. I am doing this primarily for fun, to meet new people, and to share my enthusiasm for the city!
