18:05: Building a Zero-ETL Lakehouse: Unifying OLTP and OLAP with Snowflake Postgres and `pg_lake`
Allan Mitchell (Snowflake)
For years, connecting transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) systems has required complex ETL pipelines, often resulting in higher costs, governance challenges, and delayed insights. In this session, Allan Mitchell will explore how Snowflake Postgres unifies operational and analytical workloads while preserving PostgreSQL’s familiar capabilities for modern applications and AI. He will introduce `pg_lake` and Snowflake’s native data mirroring as efficient ways to connect Postgres with data lakes and build a more integrated, governed data architecture.~19.00-20.00: Networking
