ICEBREAKER #8 - Games on Forging Meaningful Relationships

This has become one of our favourite events. Broken into three small groups, we engage in deeply stimulating talks with one another, promoting varying degrees of mutual understanding. As a result, we always leave the event feeling revitalised.

Communication is the key to growing meaningful relationships but we often fall back on surface level conversations.

This evening on ICEBREAKER, we get to know each other with the help of over 300 prompt cards, up from the previous 150. It's a fantastic tool to help spark thoughtful discussions. It doesn't matter if it's with someone you've known for years or someone you've recently met, the prompts, which are split across 12 categories, will spark vulnerability, show off your quirky side or take us down a memory lane.

A sneak peek on the prompts:

1. What's your guilty pleasure?
2. Would you rather be slightly late or super early?
3. How did you meet your best friend?
4. What do you regret not doing when you were younger?
5. What's something you disagree with about the way you were raised?
6. If you could switch places with your friends for a day, who would it be?
7. What one accomplishment are you most proud of?

Water and tea available, feel free to bring snacks.

This event:

• is held in English.
• is a space for exchange of opinions and experiences.
• will open its doors at 7.55pm.
• will begin on time.

I'll be taking photos of the event to be posted on the event page and Instagram. If you do not wish to be photographed, kindly inform me prior to the start of the event.

Your respectful social etiquette matters:

• If you've signed up, you will turn up. If your plans change, remove yourself from the going/waiting list 12 hours prior to the start of event time.
• Dropping out less than 6 hours before event time will earn you a No-Show and the possibility of being banned from future events.
• If something's come up last minute, write me a message to prevent being flagged as No-Show.
• Do not show up if you are on the waiting list.
