MunichJS June Meetup
Details
Welcome back to MunichJS!
Since the last one was so much fun we have the next one rolling with another in-person event. We are happy to have a great speaker lineup at an amazing venue. We'll meet at the Google Munich office in the Erika-Mann-Straße 33 (Room: Isar Valley, Level 6).
There are only 90 seats - so be fast. However, if - for whatever reason - you cannot make it - please also cancel your attendance properly. Anyone not cancelling will not be permitted for future events (sorry to be so drastic, but we really want to ensure that everyone who can make it is also able to enter).
Thanks to Google there will be food and beverages.
We'll open the doors at 6:30pm with the talks to begin at 7pm. Every talk is about 30 minutes long - we'll have 5-10 minutes between each talk.

Talks
7:05pm Marius Obert:
Develop at Warp Speed
Do you remember when drag-and-drop editors were the flagship for UI innovation? That era is over! Today, artificial intelligence not only reinvents the wheel - it reprograms the entire vehicle. In this session we will examine how AI is pushing the boundaries of what is possible and redefining frontend development. It's time to bid farewell to outdated WYSIWYG editors that limit creative freedom. Marius will also demonstrate how a new generation of tools not only accelerates the development cycle but also fosters creativity - all within seconds.

7:45pm Andrés Olivares:
A 400% faster Performance panel through perf-ception
The Performance panel in DevTools is a powerful tool to diagnose, debug and fix performance issues of web apps. On this occasion, we will walk you through how we used the Performance panel to improve the performance of... the Performance panel and how we achieved a very significant improvement.

8:25pm Thomas Steiner:
Building a cross-browser WebAssembly app that optimizes Wasm
This talk introduces WasmOptim, a cross-browser web app that serves to optimize WebAssembly files. It's based on the Binaryen Wasm tools compiled to Wasm that it uses to reduce the file size of Wasm files and to merge multiple Wasm files into one. The app works cross-browser, but on supporting browsers it makes use of advanced web APIs like the File System Observer and File System Access, which allow for flows like watching a directory of Wasm files for changes and automatically reoptimizing them when changes occur.
