E-STEAM Playtime - Music & Dance - First Fridays, Five Points Jazz

Details

This evening, Friday, September 5, 2025, we're practicing for our next month's E-STEAM Love channel's Friday, October 3, 2025, E-STEAM Playtime with music and dance, by simply practicing "showing up" for this evening's First Friday Five Points Jazz!

What we're really practicing for is a celebration of our collaborative Meetup group's 20-year anniversary, from 2008 to 2028, as we continue to evolve, in the next 3 years, into becoming a part of our co-created E-STEAM Love channel's annual October Co-Creativity with Air celebrations.

My husband Richard and I (Fran), invite you to come out and play with us, enjoying this evening's co-creativity with air, through music and dance. This evening's Five Points' First Friday Jazz begins at 5:30 pm, in the park space on the south side of the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library, at 2402 Welton Street, Denver, Colorado, next to the playgrounds of the Sonny Lawson Park, where the smooth sounds of the KUVO Jazz radio station announcers will be hosting the Fedora Swing jazz band.

My husband Richard and I will be giving away origami jumping frogs, with a QR-coded link on their backs, which links to our collaborative E-STEAM Love channel's 4-minute video "October Urban Celebrations of Co-Creativity with Air - Rooftop Farms and Gardens."

We'll also be carrying our Winston K. Walker E-STEAM traveling events bags. Each bag includes a small collection of our toys for interactive E-STEAM edutainment.

From 7-9 pm, you're invited to join us, in dancing to the funky music of the Buckner Funken Jazz band, in Spangalang's Brewery, 2736 Welton St, Denver, Colorado, which is about a 3 block walk north along Welton, from the library.

Richard and I are planning to arrive early this evening (about 3 pm) to visit the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library's Western Legacies, the gallery and exhibition space, which is on Level Three of the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library. The library will close at 5:00 pm this evening.

I'm hoping that arriving early will enable us to get a parking space on this beautiful library's northwest side parking lot.If not, we're prepared for limited parking availability in the area, and we'll be considering the possibility of arriving my RTD light rail, by purchasing an all day ride-pass, from any RTD bus driver, light rail location, and/or Park 'n Ride.

I know this is very short notice for this evening's event. This is my event-posting-practice-time! Anyway, I'm giving everyone very early notice for next month's first Friday, October 3, 2025, event, for E-STEAM Playtime with music and dance!

Richard and I are looking forward to sharing some E-STEAM playtime with you throughout the next two months, experiencing the many joyful ways each of us can be intentionally be co-creative with Nature's gift of air, and our gifts to each other, of simply "showing up" for E-STEAM Playtime together.
