CALLING ALL PLANETARY FLIGHT CREWS!

  • Join us for our 3rd Annual month-long October E-STEAM Playtime Co-Creativity with Air activities.

  • 📍WHERE: Sloan's Lake Park (Flight zone) & Sloan's Lake Learning Garden (Rain-Cloud zone) & Lake Middle School Lawn (Live Music zone), at 18th Avenue and Meade Street).

  • 🚀 WHAT: This 2026 OSOW, is the 41st annual One Sky, One World, International Kite Fly for Peace (OSOW)! It is free for all ages!

  • FLIGHT zone:

  • On the Sloan's Lake Park lawn, at Meade Street, and 18th Avenue, under the trees, from your picnic chairs or blankets, we'll share play-filled conversational kite-curiosity time, about Co-Creativity with Air.

  • While playing with toys like paper airplanes, and balancing birds, we'll conversationally explore how kites fly differently, or not at all, in the low-to-no-air conditions, in different temperatures, and altitudes, like the high altitudes like Mt Everest, or on the moon, or Mars.

  • Through one-on-one Q&As, we'll explore and compare, the history of how kites were made and flown, at different locations, in our planet's atmosphere of air.

  • Because this OSOW Sloans Lake airspace is limited, we will operate like an airport runway, taking turns for kite take-offs and landings. Bring your blankets/folding chairs, family/friends, and favorite kites to enjoy neighborhood conversations on the grass between kite flights.

  • Feel free to invite Jane Parker-Ambrose (the OSOW founder), to help you guide your kites away from flying into the cooler, denser urban air, next to the trees in Sloan’s Lake Park.

  • RAIN CLOUD zone:

  • At the Sloan's Lake Learning Garden, on the south side of 18th Street, which borders the Lake Middle School parking lot, we'll bring our picnic chairs to the side walk next to the beginnings of the Sloan's Lake Learning Garden. There, we'll share play-filled conversational rain-cloud-curiosity time, about Co-Creativity with Air.

  • We'll discover the secrets, of how this garden can share the balancing history of Co-Creativity with Air connecting people with their best Planetary Flight experience through Earth's atmosphere of air.

  • LIVE MUSIC zone:

  • Will we be surprised to find talented buskers playing music, and talking with us, about Co-Creativity with Air, encouraging us to sing along, to songs like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow?"

  • Or will there be live bands?

  • Will there be food trucks?

  • It's okay with our E-STEAM Playtime co-hosts if this will simply be a surprise, the way it was a surprise in last year's 2025 40th OSOW. Last year, the live bands were located on the Lake Middle School lawn, off of Meade Street and 18th Avenue, with food trucks on 18th Avenue.

  • 🤝🌱🧑 CO-CREATIVITY PARTNERS
  • Co-hosts Fran and Richard Rew are the co-founders of the E-STEAM Love channel on YouTube. On Sunday, October 11, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, they will be volunteering to help with hands-on, interactive E-STEAM Playtime Urban Co-Creativity with Air activities.
  • Together we can playfully practice co-creatively imitating Nature's balancing designs, by playing the “Holy Humor Days Origami Jumping Frog Game.” Both teams are on the same planetary plane. Winning imitates a real life experience, of the balancing E-STEAM Playtime Power, of shared atmospheric life-support systems. Each team’s balancing scores determine whether their planetary airplane’s wings are safely balanced for landing.
  • Richard and Fran will help us to consciously activate our playful co-creative curiosity, about the life-supporting biology of our air. They will be conversationally storytelling, while playing with intergenerational hands-on, tuning forks, musical instruments, Energy Sticks, paper airplanes, soap bubbles, and plants.

  • "Balancing" is the one-word description of the Earth's mission for our Life-Support System!
  • "E-STEAM" is an acronym, which represents Earth's "Balancing" mission.
  • Anything to do with "Balancing" is an "Economics."
  • E-STEAM separates the Economics of balancing Earth's entire atmosphere of air, into two sections. These two sections can be connected by the "dash," which represents "co-creativity."
  • The left side of the "dash" of co-creativity represents the science of living energy resources. The right side of the dash represents the art of the non-living resources..

Our co-creative love for Nature's life-supporting systems will continue to guide us, toward designing urban and rural life-supporting E-STEAM transportation infrastructures. Our future transportation choices will increasingly contribute to our balancing Life-Supporting Biology of Precipitation Cycles.

  • The 2026 calendar for the full month of October's E-STEAM Playtime Co-Creativity with Air activities will be linked, in the video descriptions, of the 2024 and 2026 annual October event videos, on the E-STEAM Love channel on YouTube. The 2nd weekend of October’s locations include Forney Museum of Transportation (Friday, 10/9), CSU Spur (Saturday, 10/10), and the One Sky One World International Kite Fly for Peace, in the Sloan’s Lake Park (Sunday, 10/11).
