CALLING ALL PLANETARY FLIGHT CREWS!

Join us for our 3rd Annual month-long October E-STEAM Playtime Co-Creativity with Air activities.
*
📍WHERE:
Meet at the History Colorado Center (1200 Broadway), to experience the immersive Dust Bowl exhibit, on the 2nd floor, from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

Then we'll walk to the Denver Art Museum’s Sensory Garden (100 W 14th Ave Pkwy), to conversationally co-creatively visualize together, what progress toward an improved urban relationship with our atmosphere could look like, as we look ahead to our 4th annual October activities in 2027!

💰 TICKETING, ACCESSIBILITY & COMMUNITY POOL:

To make this event as accessible as possible, we are pulling our community resources together!

  • Kids 18 & Under: 100% FREE at both museums!
  • The Ticket-Sharing Pool: Fran and Richard have 4 free adult tickets to share from their personal family membership. If you are an HCC or DAM member and have guest passes you are willing to contribute to the group pool, please let us know in the event chat!
  • Pending Partnerships: We are actively reaching out to local city air-quality initiatives to see if we can secure further group discounts. Stay tuned to this event's page updates!

🚀 WHAT:
Today is the grand finale of our month-long journey, and we are diving directly into our most important immersive experience yet: the legendary "Black Sunday" multimedia theater inside the Living West exhibit at the History Colorado Center.

This intense immersive exhibit experience is a far more powerful way to wake up our couscioius intent for a better future, than simply reading about the historic Dust Bowl experiences. We will step back in time to April 14, 1935, sitting inside a reconstructed plains farmhouse as a massive dust storm rolls through, shakes the walls, and completely blocks out the light. It is a powerful, jaw-dropping psychological look at what happens when humanity falls out of rhythm with the biology of Earth's precipitation and wind cycles.

Choose Your Own Adventure

  • Part 1: The Immersive Dust Bowl Experience (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM): We will go through the immersive Living West exhibit together.
  • Part 2: The Conversational Walk & Sensory Garden Snack & Chat time (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM): For those who want to keep the conversation rolling, we will walk over to the nearby Denver Art Museum, and either buy a snack in their Café Gío, or bring our own food to the museum's Sensory Garden. This garden is perched directly above the busy street-level delivery truck area. This "rooftop garden" is the only publicly accessible "rooftop garden" area in downtown Denver.
  • Even though Denver's downtown area has a lovely public civic park area, the density of heat-generating, stormwater wasting, rooftops are like the barren wasteland of the Dust Bowl days, which sent up powerful heat waves full of dust.
  • Can we imagine the possibilities for increasing soical and ecological assets, by encouraging replacing heat-generating commercial rooftops with a network of NU-GRIPs in downtown Denver (Neighborhood Urban Green Roof, Intergenerational, Interdisciplinary, Pulic-Private-Partnerships)?
  • If Denver had a network of uniquely designed NU-GRIPs downtown, could we imagine the possibilities, for NU-GRIPs to become a powerful source of inspiration, for Denver's conscious co-creativity, with Nature and each other, expanding to more urban and rural ground and rooftop levels and locations?

🔸🔹 THE EARTH LIFE-SUPPORT SYSTEM MISSION 🔸🔹

  • "Balancing" is the one-word description of the Earth's mission for our Life-Support System!
  • "E-STEAM" is an acronym, which represents Earth's "Balancing" mission.
  • Anything to do with "Balancing" is an "Economics."
  • E-STEAM separates the Economics of balancing Earth's entire atmosphere of air, into two sections. These two sections can be connected by the "dash," which represents "co-creativity."
  • The left side of the "dash" of co-creativity represents the science of living energy resources. The right side of the dash represents the art of the non-living resources..
  • .
  • "E" = Economics, of Nature's Science, for balancing living-energy-resources.
  • "dash" = Conscious co-creativity connections, continually balancing between the living and
  • non-living-resources, designed by both Nature and Humanity.
  • "STEAM" = Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and

Math, of Humanity’s non-living-resources, usually is imitating Nature's STEAM designs, for continually balancing
our human economics, through our Art of choices..
*
Our co-creative love for Nature's life-supporting systems will continue to guide us, toward designing urban and rural life-supporting E-STEAM transportation infrastructures. Our future transportation choices (whether it's a golf cart or a flying car) will increasingly contribute to our balancing Life-Supporting Biology of Precipitation Cycles.
