Retro Listening Club Edition 1: Gramophone

Baroque House is excited to share we are launching the Chinese Culture Centre in Chinatown. This interactive space on Pagoda Street will introduce and develop further appreciation of the myriad forms and expressions of our singapore Chinese heritage.

Retro Listening Sessions is one of the anchor programs planned at the Centre. Expect a rotation of shellacs, vinyls of various themes from month to month.

For the first event, we will be dusting off our old HMV gramophone and belting out some retro tunes. If you have any old shellacs, bring them down along with your friends to this shared retro listening session. Make new friends with fellow Chinese culture lovers. Guests with discs play first, organiser fills in. 4-5pm tea and music, 5-6pm tea and mingle . $10 with free flow Chinese tea, homemade coconut ice cream available $5
