Fern Deng, PCC, Mentor
Fern Deng is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach who specializes in executive and life coaching. Her work centers on empowering individuals and leaders to unlock their potential, align with their values, and create purposeful and confident pathways forward. Through her coaching, Fern helps clients cultivate clarity, resilience, and presence- enabling them to lead authentically and thrive in complex personal and professional landscapes. At the heart of Fern’s practice lies her Empowerment-based 3Cs Coaching Model: Congruency, Competency, and Confidence. This model reflects her belief that true empowerment begins with self awareness and alignment. Before stepping fully into coaching, Fern built a successful 12-year career in luxury retail and beauty multinationals, holding leadership roles at L’Oréal, Chanel, Clarins and Salvatore Ferragamo. In these organizations, she led high-performing teams across marketing, branding, and sales, working closely with cross-functional and cross-cultural groups. Having personally experienced the demands of driving performance, managing stakeholders, and balancing strategic vision with team dynamics, Fern understands firsthand the challenges leaders face when they need to inspire, motivate, and adapt across different roles and contexts. This insight deeply informs her coaching- allowing her to meet leaders where they are, with empathy and realism. With a strong foundation in leadership and people development, Fern partners with clients to navigate transitions, strengthen communication and influence, and build the mental agility needed to thrive in today’s fast-paced environments. Her approach is both strategic and human-centered- combining business acumen with emotional intelligence and psychological depth. Fern’s coaching presence is grounded, intuitive, and compassionate. She believes every individual holds the innate capacity to grow when provided with the right balance of challenge and support. In addition to her executive and life coaching work, Fern mentors aspiring coaches and facilitates leadership development programs, helping professionals strengthen their coaching mindset, communication, and emotional agility. Fern has partnered with organizations such as NTUC Income, Ministry of Social and Family Development, CMIC Group, BusyBees, Omni-Health, BHS Corrugated, AIA, Singapore Power and Singapore General Hospital. A lifelong learner at heart who has a deep interest in human behaviour and the psychological foundations of change, Fern is currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in Counselling and Psychology (graduating in June 2026). This allows her to better support clients with mental health challenges and to be able to hold space ethically and compassionately for them
