Hi there peace be upon you! I am Zahara, a lady in my thirties who enjoys seeking for thrill adventures and like to build new connections or friendships as well

The main aim for this group is to ensure that the participants of this meetup is able to benefit from this community platform.

Being single can get daunting at times, therefore, with the setting up of the Singles Muslims Community , it gives an opportunity for single muslims in Singapore to get together with like minded individuals. It is also heartening to see like minded individuals of the same faith doing activities that build on their skills.

I would like to meet people from different walks of life (same faith!) . I would like to learn from them , and know about their strengths and fears

At our events, we will be doing events designed for participants so that they could learn from one another, have a good time and gain new skills or knowledge from the activities being planned out !

Hi there peace be upon you!

My name is Zahara, the new organizer for this newly setup community group

Looking for something meaningful this coming weekend? Come join us (this group) this Saturday on (15th August) for an enriching and meaningful meetup event where you will have the opportunity to learn more about Malay Culture and its history.

The itinerary for this event will be

Firstly, we will gather at BUGIS MRT STATION and say our prayers before heading for our destination to Malay Heritage Center which is located at 85 Sultan Gate Singapore (198501).
We will then proceed to MALAY HERITAGE CENTER by walking from BUGIS mrt which is a ten minute walk. Ample time (45 minutes) will be given for participants to take photos and explore the exterior and interior of the Malay Heritage Center.
Next, we will be visiting the Sultan Mosque also known as one of the most iconic mosque in Singapore.
For participants who wish to do their Zuhoor prayers, you may perform your prayers at the Sultan Mosque itself.

For lunch/ tea break , we can discuss among ourselves and decide on which food stall eatery we can head to for our meal.
Before departing, we will reflect on how the meetup event goes and we will take a group photos together. May this meetup event goes smoothly from beginning to the end.
