Novato Big Trees Hike

This is an out and back-and definitely up-hike in Novato. We'll be on the Big Trees trail for the entire duration of the hike. The majority of the hike is shaded. The trail takes us through beautiful redwood groves where we'll see a few different wildflowers including the Mariposa lily and purple selfheal. Approximately 1200 ft elevation gain, 6 miles and long pants are highly recommended as there is poison oak in close proximity of the trail. No facilities.
