My Better Half: Live Interactive Game Show

How well do you really know your partner?

From the creators of The Dinner Detective comes My Better Half, a 21+ live comedy game show where real couples, playful questions, and audience participation come together for one unpredictable night.
This is not a show where you sit quietly and watch from the sidelines. Guests mingle, meet other people in the room, compare answers, and join the fun before three willing couples are selected to compete on stage.

Come with your partner, bring friends, organize a group night out, or attend on your own. You do not need to be part of a couple to enjoy the show or play along.

How it Works

1. Arrive, Mingle & Settle In
Guests receive name tags, grab drinks or food, and meet other people in the room as our host gets the evening started.
Everyone begins by talking, answering playful questions, and putting their partner knowledge to the test. From the room, three willing couples are selected to take the stage.

2. Three Couples Compete
The selected couples face a series of questions and comedy challenges designed to reveal how well they really know each other.
They may know the same story—but will they tell the same version?

3. The Crowd Joins In
The rest of the room does not simply watch. Guests play along, compare answers, react to the couples, and cheer for their favorite team.
Our host leads the comedy, while the co-host tracks the score and keeps the game moving.
Audience participation is always voluntary. No one will be forced onto the stage, handed a microphone, or required to share personal information.

4. A Winner Is Crowned
At the end of the night, one couple earns the title, prizes, and permanent bragging rights.
Everyone else leaves with new stories, new connections, and possibly a few questions for the ride home.

What to Know Before You Attend
The show’s content generally falls between PG-13 and R. Because much of the comedy comes from live audience interaction, every performance is different and you never know exactly what someone might say.
Participation is optional, but everyone is encouraged to play along, meet other guests, and enjoy the shared experience.
An in-person member of the My Better Half team will be present throughout the event to welcome attendees, coordinate with the venue, explain how the show works, and serve as the event contact.
