理想书屋 My Shelf

My Shelf was found in 2017; This Meetup group was created on 18 Nov 2025.

It is for book lovers as well as the ones with self-improvement. It is a pure hobby group, targeting the ones in Singapore by meeting face to face.

Currently, we plan to post 2 events per month with 4-5 attendees' capacity. 2 events/month are the maximumly allowed under Meetup free plan. The joining is free except for paying the coffee if the event is hold in coffee restaurants.
As the main language of the group founder/main organizer is Chinese, the books in current sharing would be prone to Chinese likewise. However, it is no problem at all to meet and communicate with the readers in English and even other languages, that is the value of Meetup group!
Along with the time, we believe the group becomes mature with more willing organizers in different background, we will increase the meeting frequency, expand the capacities as well as prepare more interesting topics.

Furthermore, and more exciting is, My Shelf is built on ideology of the founder's knowledge map, and he is willing to share a methodology for the attendee to practice, and believe it is beneficial to the individuals as well as development of the groups, which should be "Your Shelf". This is the unique from the other book clubs. We call this "Serendipity" at the beginning stage.
