    Hi Simon,

Thank you for a great presentation! I couldn't ask at the time, but are there any plans to incorporate pgbouncer technology into PostgreSQL server itself? The rule of thumb is that an installation of one is not practical without the other so it'd be one less thing people trip on when starting out if nothing else. And (after stabilization period) some optimizations/enhancements for connection handling that were perhaps not possible would be within reach.

I thought the presentation was well formatted, well delivered, and at the right depth for an hour. Also really approve of 2nd Quadrant's position on FOSS, and being one business of many in an open source community. Thanks for presenting to us after a long day of presenting!
