About us

This is an in person book club for those aged 21+ for Northern NJ.

We meet the 2nd Monday of every month from 6:30-8:30p.m. You are not required to purchase food or drinks.

There are 24 spots available. 8-12 members attend regularly. Guests are welcome, please include them in your RSVP.

Please RSVP and cancel if unable to attend as reservations are made the Sunday prior.

We read books that contain graphic content which is why this group is 21+. Sometimes the group will vote on a book to read next other times it will be chosen. It is up to each individual to choose if they wish to read the book for that month. We will probably not be that cozy mystery group but all are fiction.

Grady calls his wife to share some exciting news as she is driving home. He hears Abby slam on the brakes, get out of the car, then nothing. When he eventually finds her car by the cliff edge the headlights are on, the driver door is open, her phone is still there. . . but his wife has disappeared.

A year later, Grady is still overcome with grief and desperate to know what happened to Abby. He can’t sleep, and he can’t write, so he travels to a tiny Scottish island to try to get his life back on track. Then he sees the impossible – a woman who looks exactly like his missing wife.
