What we’re about
This is an in person book club for those aged 21+ for Northern NJ.
We meet the 2nd Monday of every month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Chili’s in East Rutherford, NJ. You are not required to purchase food or drinks.
There are 12 spots - Please RSVP and cancel if unable to attend as there is a waiting list. Members with 3 RSVPs that result in no shows will be removed.
We read some books that contain graphic content which is why this group is 21+. Sometimes the group will vote on a book to read next other times it will be chosen. It is up to each individual to choose if they wish to read the book for that month. We will probably not be that cozy mystery group but all are fiction.

It’s midnight on the morning of Halloween, and Jen anxiously waits up for her 18-year-old son, Todd, to return home. When Todd finally emerges from the darkness Jen watching through the window, she sees her funny, seemingly happy teenager stab a total stranger.
She doesn’t know who the victim is, or why Todd has committed such a devastating act of violence.
After Todd is taken into custody, Jen falls asleep in despair. But when she wakes up…it is yesterday. The murder has not happened yet—and there may be a chance to stop it. Each morning, when Jen wakes, she is further back in the past, first weeks, then years, before the murder. Jen realizes that somewhere in the past lies the trigger for Todd’s terrible crime…and it is her mission to find it, and prevent it from taking place.
Please RSVP in advance and revise if unable to attend as there is a limit of 12 as well as a waiting list that fills in when RSVP’s are canceled.
