International Women’s Day 2026

A 90-Minute Living History... mmm no HER-story.... mmm actually- US-story!

Join us for a powerful and engaging event as we trace a century of women’s courage — from the suffrage movement to today.

Through historical reenactments, personal stories, and contemporary civic insight, we’ll explore how women’s voices have shaped democracy — and why participation still matters.
Experience:

• A portrayal of Amelia Bloomer and a World War I female soldier
• Brief, firsthand reflections from women in our own community
• A look at key legal milestones — including Idaho’s historic Reed v. Reed case that helped launch RBG's career
• A conversation with Babe Vote about why staying engaged today is essential

International Women’s Day began as a call for political voice and labor rights. This program honors that legacy while recognizing that progress is not a straight line, and that the work of equality continues.
Come reflect. Come learn. Come be inspired.

Once a month, we come together to meditate, reflect, and share a meal.

This is a time to come down from the head space (of information and thinking) and into the body (of sensing and center). From there we know how to act, and we are naturally compassionate. So together, let's breathe, be, and belong. :)

What to bring:
- Meditation cushions (optional).
- A dish to share for the potluck. Please bring food that aligns with your values.

Schedule:
6:00 pm — Arrival
6:15 pm — Guided 20-minute meditation
6:40 pm — Short reflection, followed by group discussion
7:00 pm — Potluck and fellowship

All are welcome. No prior meditation experience is needed. Come as you are!
