North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park (Umbrella Tree Trail) 🥾

Details
This is a 2.0-mile out-and-back trail near Santa Rosa, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 5 min to complete. This trail has a great mix of shaded forest and open meadows, but be sure to wear a hat and sunblock.
The amazing Chris scouted the hike for us today and here are his thoughts:
"Driving east on Sonoma Mountain Road the park entrance is hard to see until you're driving by it. Just know that when you see the sign saying "Park entrance 400 feet" it's the next driveway. The trail markings are a little cryptic at the beginning. The Ubrella Trail is thru the gate marked "grazing area". The views from the top are wonderful!"
If you feel led to contribute to the cost of running the group (Meetup charges $400/year), I am on Venmo at https://venmo.com/u/Lisamarie-Landreth and Zelle at lisamarie@paperandglam.com.
