Join us for a dog-friendly 11 mile hike in Jenner Headlands. featuring redwood forests and spectacular ocean views!
We begin in Jenner, at the Visitor Center, then climb up past the Barn into the Redwods to visit the famous Cathedral Tree. From there we return back to our starting point via Russian Gulch.
DIFFICULTY: Moderate
DISTANCE: 11 Miles
ELEVATION GAIN: 2200 feet
PACE: Probably around 20 to 30 minute miles depending on conditions

DETAILS
- MEETING TIME: 8:30 AM. We will depart promptly at 8:40am.
- MEETING SPOT: At the Jenner Visitor Center: 10451 CA-1, Jenner, CA 95450
- PARKING: Plenty of parking in the Visitor Center lot.
- RESTROOMS: At the start of the hike, also a porta-potty at the Barn, which we will pass twice.
- DOG FRIENDLY: Yes, on leash
- GEAR: Bring plenty of water and snacks. Dress in layers - we may have AM fog but it will warm up later, and most of this route is exposed to the sun. Poles will be very useful, there are some steep climbs and descents.
