North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park (Umbrella Tree Trail) 🥾

the hike is 4.4 miles round trip up t Bennett overlook and back. This trail has a great mix of shaded forest and open meadows, but be sure to wear a hat and sunblock. we will hike up to Bennett overlook. an optional hike up umbrella tree will make the total distance 6.6 miles. you
can do just the umbrella tree hike for 2.2 miles or do the Bennett overlook afterwards for 6.6 miles.
The amazing Chris scouted the hike for us today and here are his thoughts:

"Driving east on Sonoma Mountain Road the park entrance is hard to see until you're driving by it. Just know that when you see the sign saying "Park entrance 400 feet" it's the next driveway. The trail markings are a little cryptic at the beginning. The Ubrella Trail is steep and well woth it
