Kayaking along the Fox River!

Let's meet for a kayak trip down the Fox River. This route is from North Aurora Island Park to Aurora Athletic Club and has no portages. The trip will last approximately 45 min to 1 hour. I would book as soon as you can because the kayak rentals can fill up fast if there is a large group. You may also bring your own kayak if you own one.
Once we arrive at Aurora Athletic club, there will be a shuttle service to transport us to the starting point. Those who bring their own kayak may not all fit on the shuttle, so they may need to park at the starting point. Once we return to Aurora Athletic club, the shuttle would be able to transport people back to their cars.
NOTE: This service also offers canoes but I'd like to keep the trip kayak-only in order to help us stay together more easily. That said, if someone strongly prefers a canoe and is comfortable keeping up with kayaks in it, we can make an exception. They offer tandem kayaks, but unless you sign up with a partner, we assume most people will rent single kayaks. Besides, single kayaks are much easier to balance unless you are an experienced kayaker.
After our kayak, we can grab drinks & food at either Aurora Athletic Club or one of the nearby bars or breweries.
