What we’re about

Welcome to Ocean State Jet-Skiers. We are an adventurous group from Rhode Island who love to Jetski. We share a passion for being out on the water, blasting around, exploring beautiful locations, and just having a great time riding with like-minded individuals.

We practice safe riding techniques, and abide by local and state laws to ensure a successful Jetski outing. All riders must possess a current Boating Safety Certification that is Coast Guard & NASBLA approved, and recognized in the states that we ride in, which currently is Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.

We ride almost every weekend starting in May thru to September. Weather permitting our first rides begin in April and could extend into October. The 2023 season we got 20+ rides in. The locations we ride vary from, lakes, rivers, Long Island Sound, Fishers Island, Block Island, Newport, Jamestown, and Narragansett Bay, which is where the majority of our riding takes place. The bay has so much to offer in its beauty and challenges.

If you're over 21+ years old, have a late model, full-size, reliable 4-stroke (sorry no 2-strokes) watercraft (Kawasaki, Sea-Doo, & Yamaha) and want to come ride with a fun group of fellow adventurers and adrenaline seekers, then we'd love for you to come join us on our many awesome trips. Kids, spouses, friends, partners, bosses, co-workers, you name it.... are always welcome to join our rides.

We are an inclusive group that welcomes anyone meeting the minimum age, legal, safety, and watercraft requirements. All members must be respectful to group members and others that we may interact with, as well as operate their watercraft in a safe manner.

SAFETY: All members must wear a coastguard approved life jacket with a safety whistle, while operating their watercraft. Your Boating Safety Certification and current Jetski registration, a working fire extinguisher, and a charged cellphone should be onboard the vessel at all times. Goggles and footwear such as neoprene booties or water shoes should be worn. Having rope is helpful for tying up to a dock or pier as well as the possibility of being towed due to a breakdown. We recommend a wetsuit when riding for comfort and safety. A thicker wetsuit during early spring and late fall, and a thinner "shorty wetsuit, when needed, during the summer months.

Donations ($5-10) are welcome per event to offset group fees, but not required.
