NashJS X GitHub: Copilot: More Than Just Autocomplete
Details
The Topic: Copilot: More Than Just Autocomplete
This is a unique event. The schedule is mostly the same, except for the presentation itself. We have Zavier Miller, a current GitHub employee, who will be giving the introduction. Next, we have our speaker, Jackson Miller, who daily drives Copilot and offers a deep dive into what it is capable of within VSCode. Finally, the last part of the event is a condensed GitHub Copilot Dev Days workshop.
About the speaker:
Our speaker is Jackson Miller, a product-focused entrepreneur with a 15-year track record of success that includes founding three tech startups and leading vision and execution for products with thousands of users. For the last seven years his focus has been on building and iterating ResaleAI, which is a SaaS product used by over 700 retailers across the US and Canada to simplify their store operations. The product was critical in helping many retailers take sales online during the Covid pandemic as we released new features that simplified that process for their customers.
His prior startups included a seed funded cloud analytics platform and a GPS-based mobile game that was featured on TechCrunch and sold to a TechStars company.
Outside of work. he is active in the community and has held board seats for local YMCA and YWCA organizations as well as an advisory committee for Nashville Public Schools. His tech community involvement includes speaking appearances at Defrag, Nashville Analytics Summit, Barcamp Nashville, Lawson User Group, and keynotes at Winmark franchisee conferences.
Be sure to RSVP so we get an accurate headcount for refreshments
See you there !
