What we’re about
This meetup is a unified gathering for computer scientists (to include aspiring ones, students, etc.) to discuss algorithms, data structures, the theory of computation, and other topics that are not so different from the mainstream course work of a typical Computer Science program. If you're interested in learning more about (or getting back in touch with) searching/sorting algorithms, data structures like tries & suffix trees, reviewing the "classic" CS white papers, or learning about the computational complexity theory that undergirds Turning machines, this the place to be! We'll see how the community evolves, but the hope is that each meetup will include a short talk/tutorial to be followed by a discussion or collaborative exercise.
