Nature Hike at Couchville Lake - Hermitage, TN

Join Ranger Leslie for a peaceful stroll around scenic Couchville Lake to explore the flora and fauna of this area. We'll look and listen for frogs, birds and other wildlife, and discuss a few of the trees and plants found along the trail.

Since it's Father's Day, we’ll see how many animal dads we can find with their young ones! This area is also home to such mammals as red fox, coyote, river otter, white-tailed deer, and mink.

This is a flat, easy, two-mile paved trail. Don't forget to bring your cameras and binoculars!

Directions To Couchville Lake:
Enter Long Hunter State Park at the main park entrance (2910 Hobson Pike) and then take the first left (which is the Couchville Lake Area) and proceed to the parking lot beside Couchville Lake.
