What we’re about
Do you and/or your child(ren) love science, nature, and have a craving for adventure? Do you want to connect with others that share similar interests for exploring nature and becoming a naturalist? If so, this is the group for you!
This group is an outdoors-based exploration and adventure group for children, tweens, teens, and their parents/guardians, and focuses on getting outside, exploring, and learning together. Scheduled events may range from hikes, events at local parks and nature centers, and more. We encourage members to suggest activities or even lead one of your own. We believe that there's a lot more of us (both parents and children) out there than we may realize, and look forward to getting outside together.
The meet up is organized by Michael and Brittany Gillum and aims to connect like-minded children and their families from all across Nashville. The Gillum's have two children, a daughter (12), and a son (6) who love hiking, camping, and exploration. We believe that there are many more of us (both parents and children) than we may realize, and look forward to getting outside and learning together.
Please note that Meetup members and organizers need to be at least 18 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 attending an event must be accompanied by an adult.
