About us
Welcome to the Nashville Social 30s-40s group! I know it is kind of a boring name... but I promise that will be the only boring thing about this group! I'm an experienced Meetup host but new to Nashville. Whenever I move somewhere new, I love researching and creating a bucket list of all the quintessential experiences to have in the area. I've got a list started and am excited to start adventuring!
Are you looking to meet new people, in our age group, while marking a few things off your Nashville, Tennessee or bucket list? If so, this Meetup is for you!
I'm looking forward to socializing over a cup of coffee/tea, engaging in lively discussions and exploring all that Nashville has to offer! You know what they say... it's not what you do in life that makes it fun—it's who you do it with!

Dining Around Town: Casual Chain Crawl @ Whataburger (Brentwood)
Whataburger (Brentwood), 5004 Maryland Way, Brentwood, TN, USFor 2026 we are introducing a new category of our popular Dining Around Town Series called... Casual Chain Crawl with Cristina!
Since this group began, we have consciously tried to avoid be chain restaurants in favor of supporting small and local businesses. However with such a multicultural group, it is not surprising that multiple members have expressed interest in checking out some of the most popular American chain restaurants as a cultural dining experience of sorts.
One of our most passionate members, "Italian Cristina", has volunteered to host this series and has researched and hand selected the locations which are all over the greater Nashville area.
For this event, we are heading to... Whataburger!
ABOUT from web:
On Aug. 8, 1950, an adventurous and determined entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson opened up the world’s first Whataburger on Ayers Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. He had a simple goal: to serve a burger so big it took two hands to hold and so good that after one bite customers would say, “What a burger!” He succeeded on both counts and turned that one little burger stand into a legend loved throughout Texas and the South.Today, each and every Whataburger is made to order, right when it’s ordered. And they’re still made with 100 percent pure, never-frozen beef and served on a big toasted five-inch bun with all “the extras” to suit your taste. Grilled jalapeños, extra bacon, three slices of cheese, no tomatoes, extra pickles? No problem. Your Whataburger will be made just like you like it, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Whataburger’s following has grown exponentially in its more than 75-year history, thanks to a number of features, including its famous burgers and growing list of menu items, its iconic orange-and-white-striped restaurants and its famous Fancy Ketchup.
Whataburger is more than a burger chain. It’s a place that feels like home to more than 51,000 employees, called Family Members, and millions of customers. It’s a brand built on pride, care and love. It’s a place people count on in their communities. It’s a place where goodness lives.
