ABOUT Exhibit:
*Paper Backs: Hidden Stories of European Prints from the Vanderbilt University Museum of Art Collection- through December 7, Vanderbilt University Museum of Art- Many physical traces are left on early modern prints as they travel across time and space. This fall's exhibition at VUMA explores how prior interventions such as stamped marks, offhand doodles, and improvised matting can help us better understand the material worlds of the artists and collectors whose hands these paper objects passed through before arriving at VUMA.
