Many of you have shared that you have an interest and passion for astronomy and space... Join other space & star lovers at Public Star Party!

TICKETS:
As previously shared in the group discussion, you must have already signed up for tickets.

If you are interested in attending these events in the future, I suggest following the organizers on Eventbrite, as the tickets go VERY quickly.

ABOUT from web:
Sky's the limit! Experience the wonders of winter's night sky with Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory and the Barnard-Seyfert Astronomical Society. Our series of events includes an expert-guided telescope viewing of planets, galaxies, nebulae and more. FREE and open to everyone—bring friends and family to observe spring gems like the Moon, Jupiter, Orion Nebula, Pleiades, Andromeda Galaxy and others!

Should I still come if it is cloudy or bad weather, and what is the cancellation policy?
The weather can be very tricky to predict sometimes. If it appears that there will be heavy cloud cover and/or rain, we will cancel the event. A cancellation notice will be posted by noon on the event date on the Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory homepage, the BSAS homepage, and those who registered for the free tickets will receive an email notification from Eventbrite. If it looks like we will have a good chance of at least some telescope viewing, the event will still be a go.

PARKING:
There is plenty of parking located at the Nature Park building (on the left when you come in) and near the big playground.

LOCATION NOTE:
The entrance is the road sandwiched between the driveway entrance to "Marmon Power Systems," which has a sign, then the Bowie Park entrance road, and then a liquor store.

LOCATION:
Bowie Nature Park
7211 Bowie Lake Road
