About Chandel
Chandel Shanklin is a seasoned music professional whose multifaceted career spans music education, military service, and music industry leadership. A graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s in Music Education and a second degree in Creative and Entertainment Industries from Belmont University, Chandel brings a unique blend of academic excellence and real-world experience to every endeavor.
Currently based in Nashville, TN, Chandel serves as a Sync Licensing Analyst for Warner Music, where he plays a vital role in navigating the evolving landscape of music synchronization and sync revenue. He also works as a Sync A&R for Humble Hundred (Los Angeles), identifying and cultivating talent for sync opportunities across media platforms. As the founder of Nashville Sound Sesh, he hosts artist showcases and operates as a booking agent for bands across Kentucky and Tennessee.
A former Active Duty Army Veteran and dedicated High School and Middle School Choir Teacher, Chandel has consistently devoted his life to service and creativity. His leadership continues as the Volunteer Co-Chair for Nashville in Sync (NIS), and he was recently recognized as the Member of the Month by SOLID (Society of Leaders in Development), a premier organization for emerging music industry professionals.
With a passion for elevating artists and driving innovative sync strategies, Chandel brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to every panel, session, and stage he joins.
