Mission Statement:
Nash UX is Middle Tennessee's official source for User Experience (UX):
- Support, promote and teach UX, including experience strategy, content strategy, information architecture, interaction design, user interface, and usability;
Advocate for the value of UX to customers, business, developers and other audiences
Foster professional networks through social and educational events
What is user experience?
UX or User Experience is everything the user of an app or site touches, sees, clicks, taps, and experiences; where user goals meet business goals.
UX managers and hands-on leads strategize with business and product teams to define strategy, and work with implementation teams to deliver solutions.
UI stands for User Interface, which is the screen or surface a user sees and interacts with. UI comes from the UX and product strategy; UI is the tangible output.

UX Night at the Frist Art Museum
Frist Art Museum, 919 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203, USA, Nashville, TN, USJoin your Nashville UX Colleagues at the Frist Art Museum for a night of art, networking, and UX chat!
The Frist has graciously offered to host the Nashville UX meetup on Thursday, October 1st from 5:30-7:30 p.m. We’ll meet at 5:30 in Studio B in the upper-level education corridor before heading out to explore the museum.
Gallery admission will be provided FREE courtesy of the Frist and discounted parking is available in the Frist visitor lot while space is available. The discounted rate is $3 for the first 3 hours (each additional hour is $12).

The Café Cheeserie will be open until 8 p.m. with music until 7:30.
