Service Design with Taylor Kostal-Bergmann
Details
What is service design and why should you care? We now live in a service based economy. Most things we do are a service; from ordering food from a server to volunteering or using a video streaming subscription. As UX designers we often are asked only to focus on the digital experience, but understanding how that fits within the brand ecosystem allows us to take our design to the next level. At this meetup we will discuss some of the essentials of service design, how you can leverage it in the work you're doing today and what tools it can offer to help you not only design smarter, but also clearly articulate the intangible concepts that may be plaguing your projects, or even your workplace. We will also discuss how the field is growing and what new and exciting disciplines are emerging from this thinking.
