C3-4 miles

We will meet by the visitors’ center
Take a leisurely walk around beautiful gardens and along the Connetquot River in Bayard Cutting
Arboretum and see what's in bloom. Trails may be muddy. Optional lunch in the Café on your own. Rain cancels;
Directions: From Southern State Parkway to Exit 45E, east on Montauk Hwy about ½ miles to entrance on right. $8 parking fee, or free with Empire Passport

“Opera Night Long Island" (ONLI) is a non-profit organization that presents live opera performances on Long Island. They offer a series of monthly programs featuring excerpts from operas, operettas, art songs, and musical theater pieces. The performances feature classically trained singers and a pianist, providing a professional and high-quality experience. ONLI aims to make live opera accessible and enjoyable for the local community.”

Optional Pre-Opera dinner picnic ("bring your own") at Heckscher Park in Huntington at 5:00 PM., weather permitting. Remember to also bring a lounge chair.
