Hempstead Lake Figure Eight!

Let’s take a nice B hike/ 5 miles around both sides of Hempstead Lake. Beautiful lake views and great conversation awaits. Meet at the Hempstead Lake State Park Environmental Education Nature Center at 9:50 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. departure. Bathrooms are in the Environmental Center. Bring water a snack and a smile. Heavy rain cancels. Please watch the weather for what to wear. The trail is mostly paved but proper hiking footwear is recommended.
