A new hobby for 2025: GEOCACHING

The new GigaParts store is having a day of classes featuring local "experts' willing to share information about their favorite hobby. One of those classes, starting at 1:00 PM, is on GEOCACHING! This event is also posted on geocaching.com as GCB1CTZ.

Geocaching will be celebrating 25 years of fun and excitement in 2025. Local geocachers, lead by GameForTravel, will be offering a fun and exciting introduction into this fun and exciting hobby.
Geocaching 100. A short presentation covering the most basic/essential aspects of geocaching will be given. There will be ample time for questions and answers. Experienced cachers will be invited to participate and answer questions from their perspective, adding hints and "secrets" that they have learned over the years.
Geocaching 100-A. We will explore the free geocaching app in a bit more detail - including "challenges" on the statistics page plus caches using the "Challenge" attribute.
Geocaching 100-B. Experienced cachers will be invited to talk about their favorite geocaches, events, adventures, escapades, and challenges -- and why they are addicted to the fun game/sport/hobby of geocaching.

This event will start at 1**:00 PM** at the new GigaParts store at 6123 University Dr (US-72), just west of AL-255 -- in the building where Burlington Coat Factory used to be. We will meet in the HUMONGOUS classroom back of the store (Pass under the “Classroom” sign, continue forward a couple of yards, then turn right). The session should last about one hour.
