Hola!, el Sabado vamos de ruta al Parque Nacional de la Pedriza!. En concreto iremos a la famosa y preciosa pradera del Collado de las Dehesillas. Esta es una de las mas bonitas rutas de senderismo de toda la sierra de Guadarrama y una de la primeras que se trazaron formando parte de la antigua ruta GR-10. Comenzaremos la ruta desde el Tranco hasta llegar al corazon del parque (Cantocochino). Desde ahí los dos primeros kms. de la ruta son muy sencillos pasando por el antiguo trazado del GR-10, que ahora han rebajado a una PR-M2.
Se llega fácilmente al puente por el que se cruza el río y ya tenemos encima de nosotros el refugio Giner de los Ríos. Ahí nos desviamos hacia la izquierda siguiendo alguno de los senderos, que nos llevarán hacia el collado entre jaras y piedras graníticas. Y en aproximadamente media hora más llegamos al Collado de la Dehesilla, por el que pasa el sendero PR-M1 que rodea todo el circo de La Pedriza. Desde allí tendremos unas impresionantes vistas del Collado de la Ventana, Las Torres, el Collado del Cabrón, el Cancho del Muerto y Cantocochino.
Encima de nuestras cabezas seguro que veremos mas de un buitre Leonado y si tenemos suerte tambien podremos ver alguna cabra Montesa!!

Después de la ruta los que quieran , nos tomaremos unas cervezas o un caldo caliente en alguno de los bares de la zona!!

Hello!, On Saturday we are going on a route to the Pedriza National Park! Specifically, we will go to the famous and beautiful meadow of Collado de las Dehesillas. This is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the entire Sierra de Guadarrama and one of the first to be traced as part of the old GR-10 route. We will start the route from El Tranco until we reach the heart of the park (Cantocochino). From there the first two kms. of the route are very simple, passing through the old GR-10 route, which has now been downgraded to a PR-M2.

The bridge over which the river is crossed is easily reached and we already have the Giner de los Ríos refuge above us. There we turn left following one of the paths, which will take us to the hill between rockroses and granite stones. And in approximately another half hour we arrive at the Collado de la Dehesilla, through which the PR-M1 path passes that surrounds the entire La Pedriza cirque. From there we will have impressive views of the Collado de la Ventana, Las Torres, the Collado del Cabrón, the Cancho del Muerto and Cantocochino.
Above our heads we will surely see more than one Griffon Vulture, and if we are lucky we will also be able to see a Mountain Goat!!

After the route those who want, we will have a few beers or a hot broth in one of the bars in the area!

Ruta circular fácil por los alrededores de Miraflores de la Sierra
Este recorrido nos invita a descubrir los encantos del hermoso pueblo de Miraflores de la Sierra, siguiendo el sendero local SL-03, que nos llevará hasta la Ermita de San Blas y, más adelante, al Embalse de los Palancares.
Partimos desde el corazón de Miraflores de la Sierra, guiándonos por las indicaciones del panel informativo y tomando el camino de la Muñequilla. Pasamos junto a la pintoresca Fuente de la Villa y continuamos en dirección sureste.
Nos adentramos en el Hueco de San Blas, una joya escondida de la Sierra de Guadarrama. A diferencia de otros rincones más concurridos, aquí el paisaje se despliega con toda su belleza sin exigir un gran esfuerzo ni senderos abruptos o pedregosos. Este recorrido, de poca dificultad y sin grandes desniveles, nos permite disfrutar del entorno con total tranquilidad.
Uno de los grandes atractivos de la ruta es el telón de fondo que nos acompaña en gran parte del camino: los imponentes riscos que marcan el límite oriental de La Pedriza, dibujando un paisaje espectacular.
En definitiva, una excursión perfecta para caminar sin prisa, deleitándonos con las vistas, el canto de los pájaros y, si la hacemos en primavera, con la explosión de color de la vegetación y el revoloteo de mariposas. Un plan ideal para desconectar y disfrutar de la naturaleza en su máximo esplendor.

Despues para celebrar nuestro logro nos tomaremos unas merecidas cervezas y unas tapas por el pueblo de Miraflores de la Sierra!!. :-)

***Hora y lugar de salida*** : Iremos los que quieran en autobús público conmigo (los que tengan abono transporte de la comunidad de Madrid les sale gratis) en el intercambiador de Plaza Castilla y los que tengan coche o quieran compartir gasolina, con el propio conductor en su propio vehículo, quedando en un segundo punto. Para todo esto nos organizamos tod@s por whatsapp:

1. En Autobus: Quedaremos a las 09:10 am en la estación del intercambiador de Plaza Castilla en la fila del autobús 725, de la dársena 26 que está en el nivel -3 del Intercambiador de Plaza Castilla.
2. Si vais en coche: poneros en contacto por el grupo de whatsapp para indicaros el 2 punto de encuentro (de inicio de ruta). Y organizar el compartir coches y gasolina. (se estipula el gasto a 12c/km a repartir entre los que van en el coche, siempre que el conductor desee compartir su vehículo).
3. Si vais desde otra dirección o fuera de Madrid, por favor ponerse en contacto con el organizador.

This route invites us to discover the charms of the beautiful town of Miraflores de la Sierra, following the local trail SL-03, which will take us to the Ermita de San Blas and later to the Embalse de los Palancares.
We start from the heart of Miraflores de la Sierra, following the directions on the information board and taking the Camino de la Muñequilla. We pass by the picturesque Fuente de la Villa and continue southeast.
We enter the Hueco de San Blas, a hidden gem in the Sierra de Guadarrama. Unlike other more crowded areas, here the landscape unfolds in all its beauty without requiring great effort or challenging rocky trails. This easy route, with no significant elevation gain, allows us to enjoy the surroundings in total tranquility.
One of the highlights of the hike is the stunning backdrop that accompanies us for much of the way: the imposing cliffs marking the eastern boundary of La Pedriza, creating a spectacular landscape.
In short, this is a perfect excursion for a relaxed walk, soaking in the views, the birdsong, and—if done in spring—the explosion of colors from the vegetation and the fluttering of butterflies.

Afterward, to celebrate our achievement, we will enjoy some well-earned beers and tapas in the town of Miraflores de la Sierra! :-)

• Difficulty: Easy to moderate for those who are not in good physical shape.

### Recommended Gear:

Hiking boots, winter clothing, sunscreen, gloves, hat, and sunglasses if available. Also, bring 1 liter of water and a light snack (juice, nuts, fruit...) and a sandwich.

### Meeting Time & Place:

Those who wish can take the public bus with me (free for those with a Madrid public transport pass) from the Plaza Castilla transport hub. Those with cars or who want to share fuel costs can meet with the driver at a second meeting point. We will coordinate everything via WhatsApp.

• By Bus: We will meet at 9:00 AM at the Plaza Castilla transport hub, in line for bus 725, at dock 26, located on level -3.
• By Car: Contact the group via WhatsApp to get details on the second meeting point (hike starting location) and to organize carpooling and fuel costs (estimated at €0.12/km, to be split among passengers, provided the driver agrees to share their vehicle).
