Come move, play, and connect with the movement community at Shorebird Park this Saturday morning!
This isn’t just a workout — it’s a gathering of folks who love to move, explore, and share the joy of physical activity and function. Whether you're climbing, crawling, jumping, or just soaking in the vibe, you're welcome here.
We'll be on grass, dirt, and a wonderfully climbable low tree with branches about 3 feet off the ground. Everything is optional — we geek out on customizing movement to suit everyone’s comfort and ability. All you need is curiosity—we’ll take care of the rest.
Here’s what’s going down:
- Meet at 9:30am by the Infinity Tree at Shorebird Park. (Check the event photo and map. If you’re lost in the wild, call or text 415-830-3274.)
- 30-minute guided warm-up to wake up the body and dial into the day.
- Primal movement session to reconnect with gravity, the earth, and playful obstacles (hello, Infinity Tree). Think crawling, balancing, and moving like a curious kid again.
- 30-minute coordination + reflex jam using tennis balls. We’ll start with simple toss-and-catch drills and build to more complex patterns with full-body movement. Bonus points for flair.
- Got an idea or a fun variation? Share it! This is a co-created experience — your creativity makes it better for everyone.
- Wrap up with a short interval workout to get your heart pumping and your endorphins flowing.
We’ll finish up around 11 am, then hang out for a bit — stretch, chill, chat, or enjoy the park and the vibe.
