Regional Nature Journal Field Trip @ Crissy Field, San Francisco

Details

Let's nature journal together while sittin' on a dock on the Bay (or at least at the Bay!) We'll nature journal the beauties of bay, beach, birds, and more at Crissy Field. (San Francisco)

Co-Host Yvea Moore will share the natural and urban history of this special place, talk about the restoration and stewardship work happening in the Presidio, and guide us on a walking tour of the local area. (Yay for Yvea!)

* Free; Suggested $20 donation for the Wild Wonder Foundation

"With its breathtaking San Francisco Bay views, easy hiking, welcoming beaches and picnic areas, and wild open spaces, Crissy Field is a recreational paradise that has long been discovered by locals. The site has a rich history – first as a home for the Native Ohlone, then as an Army airfield, and later as busy industrial area for the military."
